Dr. G. P. Sarkar, Founder Chairman, Allen Group is an AYUSH Researcher since 1969, B.Sc., Homoeopath & Drug Researcher, Allopathic Medicine Manufacturing Chemist and Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturing Kaviraj. He is a self-made, first-generation Industrialist is indeed a multi-faceted man.
He has started manufacturing & marketing Allopathic Medicines since February 1969 and Ayurvedic Medicines since September 1970 at his first company Jupiter Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
He has formed his flagship company Allen Laboratories Ltd. in 1981. He has started manufacturing & marketing Homoeopathic & Bio-chemic Medicines since 1984 at Allen House, Kolkata – 700054.
He started his 2nd unit of Allen Laboratories Ltd., Homoeopathic Medicines manufacturing from March 1994 at Allen Homoeo Bhawan and Ayurvedic Medicines fromits Allen Ayur Bhawan since January 1999 situated at Allen Estate, Kolkata – 700102
He has been felicitated as Glorious Ex-Student for Extra-ordinary success in the field of Homoeopathic Medicinal Industry on the occasion of 125 years’ celebration of their alma-mater by the Teachers Council, The Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Govt. of West Bengal. He has been awarded as1st Generation Entrepreneur by the Bharat Chamber of Commerce in 1998-1999.
A pioneer in alternative health sciences, who formulated and developed many established Allopathic & Ayurvedic products like Jupiter’s Glycoseptol, Terex Expectorant, Cyprocin, Jvine, Carminozyme, Lucomin, etc.
His Homoeopathic formulations like ArnicaPlus TriofferHair Vitalizer is the most renowned brand in Indian household since 1989.
His remarkable research in Ayurvedic field has given the society & household products like Allen’s Livosin Syrup, Livosin Bel, AllenZyme, Alvine, Femiton, BoroAllen Antiseptic Cream are well accepted by society.
Gour Pada Sarkar was born in undivided India at Uthali, Dhaka, now in Bangladesh. His father, Late Kunja Behari Sarkar was a trader and cultivator and his mother Late Makhan Bala Sarkar was housewife. In the childhood days he was involved in trading and cultivation. In 1953 he was uprooted from his birth place and reached at Birpur, a remote village in the district of Nadia, West Bengal, India, and stayed with his uncle, Late Abinash Ch. Sarkar. He passed School Final Examination from Patikabari High School, Patikabari, Nadia, in 1960.
He stepped in Kolkata for higher education and enrolled in the Surendra Nath College in 1960 for Pre-University. He has completed B.Sc from Surendra Nath College, (Evening Session), staying at Ripon Hostel, Kolkata, managing all expenditure on his own by offering private tuition.

In 1965 he started his career in a humble way as Medical Sales Representative. He worked in the day and studied D.M.S. in the evening session at The Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, the oldest Homoeopathic Institution of Asia.
He is a multi-talented man with his footprints in all the arenas of health platforms. He has formed many companies as Founder Chairman of Dr. Sarkar Allen Group of Companies.

He has visited as business delegate of BNCCI: Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, Pakistan, Dubai, China, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Russia time to time.
In 1999, he also visited Japan, USA & U.K. as business delegate with Hon’ble M.P. Sri Somnath Chatterjee. He has visited Brazil with the team of Jadavpur University. He also visited Hong Kong and Australia.
Today after a long and astonishing journey through ups and downs in life, he is an Institution in himself.
